Intentional Intimacy is participating in The Big Payback. When we lost Jedidiah, it was such a blessing to have people give of their time, talents, and finances. The funeral home charged us only the costs they incurred through the Infant and Child Program to help families. The church blessed us with the use of their building. Many people brought food. Co-workers took up a monetary donation to help with medical expenses. Families took our other children for all-day fun days at expensive play spaces. Friends and family gave us numerous restaurant and movie gift cards.

Why do these things matter? Finances are the last thing that a family desires to focus on during the intense grieving period. We hope to ease that burden while also blessing a family with time to evaluate themselves and their family relationships as they create a new normal. Our 63660 retreats are designed to do just that.
