Proverbs 10:7

Proverbs 10

The memory of the righteous is a blessing, but the name of the wicked will rot.
Proverbs 10:7 ESV

Our prayer: Thank you for the righteous ones you have placed in our lives and help us to follow in Your Son's footsteps of love and forgiveness.
Our prayer: Thank you for the righteous ones you have placed in our lives and help us to follow in Your Son’s footsteps of love and forgiveness.

Think of someone whom you love. Someone who has loved you. Now, think of a Godly someone whom you admire. When we think of these people, we are warmed a bit inside. We know that they lived their lives to being smiles and joy into the lives of others. Answer honestly, when someone thinks about you, are they filled with joy and the warmth of love and godliness or are they likely to be annoyed, frustrated, or even ambivalent? Obviously, we cannot control what others think of us and we cannot get caught into the ridiculous cycle of people-pleasing, but we can choose to glorify the Lord in our actions and thoughts so that when others think about us, they are drawn into the loving, caring, forgiving nature of our Lord.
