Volunteer Opportunities
You have many opportunities to volunteer with Clear View Retreat throughout the year including areas of meal service, construction, landscaping, events, administrative needs, and so much more. As a ministry, CVR cannot reach families without your help. Thank you for your willingness to invest in the lives of others!
Homeschool + Service
On the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays for October, November, December, January, February, and March homeschool families can serve together while having fun and fellowship with other homeschool families from the area. We will work on projects from 9 am – 2 pm (central) / 10 am – 3pm (eastern), breaking for lunch from 11-12 (central) / 12-1 (eastern). Lunch is provided. Let us know if you are coming, so that we have enough food for everyone; call or text 443-570-4380 to confirm please. We also have Serve Together days every 4th Wednesday in May, June, July, August, and September.
Ongoing Volunteer Programs
Retreats As an all-volunteer organization, we always need good cooks and kitchen help as well as coverage in our Children’s Program. You can volunteer for a single event or apply to join us for an entire season (see below).
Adopt-a-Project This program allows flexibility in scheduling. Funding is shared between the service group and CVR.
Administrative and Marketing These volunteer opportunities are ongoing in the year. Bookkeeping, admin organization, marketing, and social media monitoring are always a need.
Events We have an annual fundraising event as well as a prayer day and some game nights. If you are interested in helping with any event, please let us know.
Volunteer Retreats/Family Mission Trips
*Volunteer Retreats include 4-16 service hours for students who need to track their hours.
Come out and enjoy the Cumberland Plateau with us while volunteering. Email cvr@clearviewretreat.org for further details.
Volunteer Staff and Intern Positions
Clear View Retreat is a faith-based missions organization. Becoming a full-time missionary staff member involves not only meeting the standards for staff, but also raising funds to cover the financial needs of your personal ministry.
All missionary staff members, including the Executive Director, are responsible for developing a team of ministry partners—individuals and churches—who work together to finance their ministry, providing for their monthly salary, ministry expenses, and benefits.
